BC Closed Championship
News flash: Jason Cao has won the BC Closed Championship. Kevin Gentes was the runner-up.

Hi Chess friends! Long time no see. Chess teaching is winding down for the summer (new students cheerfully accepted, mind you) though we will still have Wood Sense Chess Club in Duncan on Mondays from 6 to (just before) 8 pm.
I'm looking at arranging a chess tournament in the Cowichan Valley. Comments welcome.
